Songs from Palesse / Песні з Палесся

We would like to present two folk songs that were adapted by Ivan Kirchuk and the ethno trio "Troitsa". The roots of these songs are from Palesse. The region covering South of Belarus, North of Ukraine, bordering parts of Poland and Russia. This is unique place where the ancient culture is not just present but alive. There we can hear songs, see dances and rituals the way they were performed hundreds of years ago.

Прадстаўляем дзве народныя песні ў апрацоўцы Івана Кірчука і этна-трыа «Троіца». Карані гэтых песень з Палесся. Рэгіён, які ахоплівае поўдзень Беларусі, поўнач Украіны, памяжоўныя часткі Польшчы і Расіі. Гэта ўнікальнае месца, дзе не проста прысутнічае старажытная культура, але і жыве. Там мы можам пачуць песні, убачыць танцы і абрады, як яны выконваліся сотні гадоў таму.
